University of South Australia: Admission Process

The application process for both domestic and international students is largely the same. International students can apply through a registered UniSA agent, a list of which can be found on the university's website. Because education systems differ, overseas students must give information about their past courses' grading system and syllabus.

Application Fee: No application fee.

(i)Eligibility Criteria

Undergraduate:
Applicants who want to study at UniSA must have completed an Australian Year 12 program, an equivalent programme in their home country, or a recognised Pathway or Foundation Studies Program. International students studying in Australia in Year 12 must apply through the South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre (SATAC).

Postgraduate:
A candidate must have earned an undergraduate degree from a recognised higher education institution in Australia or the foreign equivalent and relevant professional job experience.
Please keep in mind that the entrance requirements for each programme are listed on the website.

Language requirements in English
International candidates from non-English speaking countries must be fluent in English. It must be shown as follows:
  • Passing an authorised test,
  • completing an Academic English programme,
  • or meeting alternative criteria that have been approved

(ii)Documents Required

Undergraduate courses are available at UniSA in a variety of disciplines, including Science, Commerce, and the Arts. Applicants from India who wish to study at UniSA must apply through a licenced UniSA agent. The agent will disclose the particular requirements during the application process. However, the following are the usual papers required by an Indian candidate for an undergraduate course:

  • High school diploma/transcript
  • English proficiency test score for international applicants
  • Passport
  • Letter of Recommendation

The University of South Australia offers more than 38 graduate programmes in Engineering, Pharmacy, Accounting, Finance, and Business. The basic application process for all courses is the same; however, the application must be submitted through a registered UniSA agent.
