Kennesaw State University: Highlights

The Board of Regents constituted the Kennesaw State University on 9 October 1963 in Georgia. It was decided to initially name it the Cobb County Junior College, of which Horace Sturgis served as the first president in December 1964. Kennesaw State University offers accommodation in premium apartments at its primary campus and Marietta campuses. There are two residential halls on the main campus – University Village and the Summit. On the other hand, the Marietta campuses have three residential halls – Howell Hall, Hornet Village, and University Columns, which offer single and double bedrooms. In addition, Howell Hall offers traditional double bedrooms. However, due to limited availability, the university offers it on a first-come, first-serve basis.
