Eligibility Criteria for Masters in Germany for International Students

Indian Students should be aware that the University Admission Committee determines the requirements for admission, which are in addition to the previously listed eligibility requirements.

The following are requirements for admission to MS in Germany:

  1. Candidates wanting to study MS in Germany must have completed a Bachelor's/undergraduate degree or its equivalent from an accredited university.
  2. It should be noted by candidates that their Bachelor's degree needs to match a Bachelor's degree in Germany. This means that candidates' first degree course must be equivalent to a German Bachelor course with a duration of 3, 3.5, or 4 years, depending on the course of study they are interested in.
  3. In order to pursue an MS in Germany, one must have a minimum CGPA of 7 or 70%. However, applicants who want to study for an MS at prestigious universities in Germany must also do well on an English language proficiency exam and have a CGPA of 8.5 or higher.
  4. Language Proficiency Test Scores:
    • German Language Proficiency: DSH Level II or I, Goethe: C1 or C2 level
