SAT Exam Syllabus 2024

Courses that students have previously taken throughout their school careers are included in the SAT Exam Syllabus. The SAT Exam Syllabus consists of the following:

The SAT Exam pattern now only consists of one section, whereas previously, it tested writing and reading in two different sections. SAT Syllabus Changes

The SAT Syllabus has undergone significant changes with the introduction of the Digital SAT.

  • SAT exam syllabus changes include modifications in the exam duration and the total number of questions tested.
  • Two sections, Reading and Writing, have been combined into a single section known as Reading + Writing (RW).
  • The questions in the RW section of Digital SAT will be more concise, featuring shorter questions compared to the previously tested pencil and paper test.

The SAT Exam Maths Syllabus has also seen changes:

  • Previously, the Mathematics section had two separate parts: one allowing calculator use and one prohibiting it.
  • In the Digital SAT Mathematics section, calculator use is permitted for all questions tested.
  • A digital calculator is available on the Bluebook App, making it unnecessary for applicants to carry a separate device.
  • Word problems in the SAT maths section have become shorter.
  • Additional features of the Digital SAT include a clock for time management and the ability to return to previous questions.
